Our Story: Photography Services at Ricky's Tilted Tripod
From a Camera and an Idea to Ricky’s Tilted Tripod
Ricky’s Tilted Tripod started with a passion for photography and a simple goal: to create stunning photos while keeping the experience fun, comfortable, and affordable. What began as personal enjoyment has blossomed into a thriving local photography business specializing in event photography, portrait photography, and offering engaging Photo Booth experiences. Here’s a glimpse into our journey so far.
2022 📸 Ricky’s Tilted Tripod Begins
Ricky’s Tilted Tripod was founded by Ricky Otto in 2022, transforming a growing passion for photography into a thriving business. What began with a camera and a drive to enhance skills has evolved into a company offering exceptional event photography, engaging photo booth experiences, and stunning portrait photography.
2023 🌱 Building Experience
Learning one session at a time.
In 2023, the focus was on gaining experience in various forms of photography, including event photography and portrait photography. This year was pivotal for developing a unique photography style, experimenting with different techniques, and enhancing both equipment and expertise. Each opportunity behind the camera, including creating memorable Photo Booth experiences, played a crucial role in shaping what Ricky’s Tilted Tripod would eventually become.
2024 🎉 Ricky’s Tilted Tripod, LLC
We made it official. In August 2024, Ricky’s Tilted Tripod officially became Ricky’s Tilted Tripod, LLC. This marked an important milestone as our event photography and portrait photography services continued to grow from a personal passion into an established small business, including our popular Photo Booth experiences.
2025 📷 Expanding Our Services
More ways to capture the moment. Ricky’s Tilted Tripod continued expanding beyond traditional photography sessions by offering specialized event photography and enhancing our Photo Booth experiences for weddings, parties, corporate events, and other celebrations. This year also marked a time of experimenting with new technology and discovering better ways to serve our clients through portrait photography.
2026 📸 Junior Photo Club
Helping create the next generation of photographers. The Ricky’s Tilted Tripod Junior Photo Club was introduced as a fun way for kids to explore photography, including event photography and portrait photography, through simple challenges, creativity, and opportunities to share their work. No professional camera is required; just curiosity and a willingness to capture some pictures for their very own Photo Booth experiences.
Today ❤️ Still Growing
Today, Ricky’s Tilted Tripod specializes in portrait photography, offering a diverse range of services including photography for couples, engagements, families, seniors, events, automotive, sports, pets, and exciting Photo Booth experiences. As a small, local photography business, we are continuously learning, experimenting, and discovering new ways to enhance the experience for our clients.
What’s Next?
Our timeline doesn't end here. There are more photos to take through our event photography, more people to meet, exciting Photo Booth experiences to create, more ideas to try, and many milestones still ahead in our journey of portrait photography.
